Membership in FLA-OC is updated yearly and runs from December to December, with Teachers renewing each Fall with the new school year. Payment prices are updated annually and vary depending on your teaching status and choice of organizations to join (individual vs. combined membership, student teachers & retirees vs. regular teachers, CLTA, MCLASC, etc.).
As a member you will receive...
- quarterly newsletters full of information regarding the Foreign Language profession and a variety of events of interest to Foreign Language Educators;
- two general meetings with exciting guest speakers, excellent networking and professional development opportunities, door prizes, refreshments, and ready-to-go lesson plans;
- One-Day and Weekend Immersion Camps in three languages (Spanish, French, and German) that are the next-best thing to study abroad programs for your students;
- a CLTA Representative at the state level; and
- the Fall Workshop and Spring ShareFair, events that strengthen our teaching skills and honor our outstanding students.
